There are eight unpaid teachers at St Paul’s School and as usual, the Committee have personally donated money to help them at Christmas as a reward for their commitment to the school in very difficult circumstances. This year the donations amounted to £593.
We do not use the charity’s funds for this is not directly for the school’s benefit and we do not want to be in a position where we are seen to be paying the teachers as this is a State responsibility not ours.
