the weather on Sunday 20th May was just perfect for our Hog Roast at Elaine’s in Rookwood where we welcomed c.110 generous supporters.
The views were stunning, the music from Nigel Bennett and Willie Austen blended in beautifully, the hog roast and fruit salad were really tasty, and just as the rum punch got everyone off to a good start, the raffle offered an equally good finish.
We could not have asked for more, especially as the event raised an amazing £2,801 for the new senior secondary school (see news articles).
It was a day to remember so a huge thank you is due to our generous and hard-working committee and all our lovely supporters.
